Home Remedies For Lower Blood Pressure

What Is Low Blood Pressure?

Lower blood pressure occurs due to pressure of the blood in the arteries. This happens when the pressure of the blood is abnormally low. Blood pressure is recorded as the systolic pressure (as the heart beats) over the diastolic pressure (time between the two beats). A consistent blood pressure (BP) reading of 90/60 mm Hg or lower is considered as Lower blood pressure (Low BP). People with lower blood pressure may experience symptoms such as dizziness or fainting (syncope) due to the blood flow to the brain and other organs become insufficient.

Causes of Lower Blood Pressure
  1. Dehydration due to diarrhea or sweating
  2. Medications for high BP or some other treatments
  3. Severe infections
  4. Heart attack or heart failure
  5. Pregnancy
