6 Natural tips for hair loss



Every day, one lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair that is perfectly normal. If this hair loss exceeds to the figure mentioned above, one may begin noticing thinning of hair or bald patches (a condition known as alopecia). Majority of people experience hair loss late in their 30’s due to hormonal change, stress, and unhealthy diet at this time. Besides trying for various causes leading to hair loss, it is better to adapt to a few herbal home remedies that are helpful in aiding hair re-growth.

Henna



Henna is known for such a long time as a natural hair colorant and conditioner mostly in the Asian countries.  Henna is very beneficial in strengthening your hair. It works even better when combined with mustard oil. Take for about 250 ml of mustard oil in a saucepan and add to it about 60gms of henna leaves, boil the mixture until the leaves are totally soft and then filter this oil using a muslin cloth. Let it cool and then store in a tight container for later use. Use this oil for massage purpose on a regular basis.

Hibiscus



Hibiscus and coconut oil are the secret formula for thick hair we notice in people living in Kerala (Part of India). Hibiscus has got rejuvenating properties.  It nourishes hair, cures dandruff, and prevents premature graying of hair. Regular use of these flowers may help prevent hair loss. Crush a few hibiscus flowers and mix with coconut oil or sesame oil to make a fine paste and apply this paste to the scalp and hair, leave this on for a few hours and then wash with a mild shampoo and cool water.


Egg



Eggs are rich in sulphur, protein, minerals such as iodine, selenium, phosphorus, zinc and iron, which make an excellent promoter for hair re-growth especially if it is combined with olive oil. Take the white of an egg and mix with a tsp of olive oil, beat this till it gives a paste-like consistency and then apply it to the entire scalp and hair. Keep this on for about 20 minutes and then wash with a mild shampoo and cool water.


Coconut



When it comes to hair care, coconut provides the best treatment to promote hair growth.
Coconut oil contains proteins, minerals, and essential fats. Applying this oil regularly can reduce the hair breakage. The milk of the coconut also contains the same rich ingredients and helps in making the hair grow stronger from the roots. Regular use of coconut oil to massage the scalp helps a lot against hair fall. Extract milk from coconut and add little water to it and apply this to the area where you see thinning and/or balding. Allow this milk to stay on your scalp overnight and rinse off with water in the next morning.

Amla



Amla is rich in antioxidants and packed with vitamin C. Amla can be a perfect solution for hair loss worries. Besides applying it to the scalp, this is also beneficial if consumed on a regular basis, because the vitamin C is good for your health too. Mix 2 tsp of amla juice or powder to the 2 tsp of lime juice, mix well, and apply to the scalp and leave it to dry and then wash using little warm water.


Onion and garlic



Onion and garlic have rich source of sulphur.  The component sulphur increases the production of collagen that helps in hair regrowth. Extract the juice from onion and apply to scalp and leave on it for about 15 to 20 minutes and then wash with a mild shampoo.



Crush a few cloves of garlic and add little
coconut oil to it and boil for a few minutes, let it cool a bit that is warm enough to touch and then apply to the scalp and massage a bit. Repeat this method for 2 or 3 times a week for faster results.
