Surgical Treatment For Female Infertility

Surgical treatment for female infertility

Surgery will be done to repair or remove fallopian tubes blockage or to reverse the sterilization surgery like a tubal ligation. However, the success rate of these types of surgeries is low. There is also a risk of ectopic pregnancy with the surgeries involving fallopian tubes. Ectopic pregnancies are also called tubal pregnancies, as they occur in the fallopian tubes.

Uterine fibroids, polyps, and scarring can also be removed with the surgery. Surgery involving the removal of endometriosis patches is found to double the chances of becoming pregnant.
