Swelling in legs during Pregnancy

Many pregnancy women develop mild swelling in her face, hands, or ankles at some point or other in their pregnancies and this becomes more noticeable as the due date approaches.

Try doing the below to minimize swelling in legs during pregnancy
  • Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water or fluids daily.
  • Do not drink caffeine.
  • Do not eat too salty foods.
  • Try to rest and elevate your feet.
  • Ask your doctor for support hose.
Numb or Tingling in Hands during Pregnancy

Swelling, tingling, and numbness in your hands and fingers are common during pregnancy. This is called carpal tunnel syndrome. These symptoms occur due to a swelling of tissues in your wrists narrow passages and they will go away after delivery.

Try doing the below to minimize tingling in hands during pregnancy:
  • Take frequent breaks from computer to rest your hands and fingers.
  • Ask your doctor about a splint to keep your wrists straight.
